About HSE

HSE, "The Patriots of Safety," was founded to bring structured, internationally benchmarked safety management to Pakistan. While countries like the US, UK, and much of Europe built formal safety frameworks decades ago, starting with the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration in 1970 and the global spread of ISO standards from 1946 onward, Pakistan's HSE culture outside a handful of multinationals and internationally funded projects remained underdeveloped. HSE exists to close that gap.

Our team brings together decades of hands on experience across oil and gas, aviation, cement, construction, and industrial sectors, including professionals who've led safety programs for organizations like PIA, PETRONAS, Shell, and major cement and EPC projects across Pakistan and the Gulf. That real world operational depth, not just theoretical certification, is what shapes every consultancy, audit, and training program we deliver.

Who We Are

We come from diverse backgrounds, military service, engineering, people who've personally experienced the cost of unsafe conditions, and lifelong students of safety. Some of us have worked toward this cause individually in Pakistan for two decades, others joined more recently. What unites us is a single identity: we call ourselves the Patriots of Safety.

How We Work

Our work spans seminars, workshops, publications, awareness drives, legislative advocacy, television programs, interactive sessions, inspections and audits, safety research and data, investigation reports, periodicals, training, international collaboration, environmental protection, and emergency response support alongside Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority. It's a broad mandate, built around one focus: safety.

Who Leads

Leadership here isn't a fixed title, it's earned through contribution. Every six months, the active team evaluates who has put in the most work and decides who leads for the next six months, with an expectation of the highest standards of integrity and merit from whoever holds that role.

Our Vision

As the world grows more complex, from population growth and resource depletion to environmental pressure and workplace stress, human safety has become one of the defining challenges of our time. Developed nations moved early on safety legislation and enforcement; much of the developing world, including Pakistan, is still catching up. Despite that, Pakistan already has hundreds of safety professionals working at every level, some meeting international standards and carrying that expertise abroad. HSE exists to bring these professionals together under one platform, starting in Pakistan, with the ambition to grow into a broader safety movement across the region and beyond.
